Getting started with Scale Figure Studio
From a blank studio to a finished cut-out in about a minute. No sign-up and nothing to install.

1. Open the studio
Go to the studio. A figure is ready to pose straight away. The controls are on the right (or below, on a phone), and the figure is in the large viewport.
2. Choose a render style
- Flat colour: clothed figures in solid colours, good for diagrams and presentation drawings.
- Shaded: soft lighting and shadow, best for compositing into realistic renders.
- Silhouette: a single flat tone for sections, elevations and competition boards.
- Outline: a clean pen-style outline for line drawings.
3. Pick a pose
Choose male or female, then a pose type: Everyday, Sitting, Sports or Random. Poses include standing, walking, sitting, yoga, tennis, archery, cycling and wheelchair use, with props such as a bike, a chair and a camera. Randomise Figure changes the body, outfit, pose and direction in one click, which is handy for building a varied crowd.
4. Set the view
Pick front, side, back, three-quarter or isometric, and switch between perspective and orthographic projection. Use orthographic for plans, sections and elevations, and perspective or isometric to match a 3D render. Drag in the viewport to orbit and scroll to zoom.
5. Turn the figure
Drag the small circle on the ring around the figure's feet to turn it. A readout shows the angle and the handle snaps at 90°, 180° and 270°. The ring never appears in your export.
6. Dress and style
Change outfit, hair, glasses, skin tone and facial features, or randomise them. Pro unlocks full control of colours and accessories.
7. Export
Set a Scale (0.25× to 2× are free) and click Transparent PNG cut-out. The image is cropped tightly with a transparent background, ready to drop into any editor. Character sheet exports a grid of different figures in one go. With Pro you can also export SVG and PDF outlines, and use lighting controls and the Photoshop panel.
